Abstract

MULTIPLEXAçãO NO TEMPO DE SINAIS UNICAST E MULTICAST EM UMA FREQüêNCIA DA PORTADORA DE DOWNLINK EM UM SISTEMA DE COMUNICAçãO SEM FIO. Uma estação remota, para um sistema de comunicação sem fio, inclui um receptor configurado para receber em um primeiro downlink, um canal de controle de sincronização em uma primeira freqüência de portadora e em um segundo downlink, um canal físico compartilhado em uma segunda freqtiência de portadora diferente da primeira freqUência de portadora. O canal físico compartilhado inclui um primeiro canal físico compartilhado tendo um sinal unicast e um segundo canal físico compartilhado tendo um sinal multicast ou broadcast, o sinal unicast sendo multiplexado em tempo com o sinal multicast ou broadcast. A estação remota inclui um processador de controle configurado para gerar um sinal de confirmação em um uplink baseado no sinal unicast. O sinal multicast ou broadcast é preferivelmente um sinal OFDM.
