Abstract

"DIRECIONAMENTO DE ANTENA PARA PONTO DE ACESSO COM BASE EM SINAIS DE SONDA". é fornecido um método de operação de ponto de acesso em uma rede de área local sem fio (wlan). O ponto de acesso inclui uma antena direcional para comunicação com uma série de estações remotas e a antena direcional inclui um ângulo omni e uma série de ângulos direcionais. O método inclui a seleção de uma das estações remotas a partir da série de estações remotas, transmissão de primeiro sinal de sonda através do ângulo omni da antena direcional para a estação remota selecionada e medição de primeiro sinal de resposta de sonda recebido através do ângulo omni da estação remota selecionada em resposta ao primeiro sinal de sonda.
