Abstract

"CORDõES DE POLIéSTER E USO DOS MESMOS EM PNEUMáTICOS QUE RODAM VAZIOS". A presente invenção diz respeito a um pneumático que roda vazio que tem pelo menos um de seus componentes que compreendem a lona da carcaça radial, a camada inferior, a camada superior, os insertos do talão ou os reforços de arame na área do talão, reforçados com cordões de poliéster que têm um poliepóxido disposto na sua superfície. O cordão de poliéster é formado primeiro obtendo-se um cordão por meio da trançagem entre si de uma pluralidade de fios de poliéster, em segundo lugar pelo tratamento do cordão com uma dispersão aquosa que compreende um poliepóxido, e em terceiro lugar pelo tratamento do cordão com uma dispersão RFL aquosa que compreende uma resina de resorcinol-formaldeído, um látex de copolímero de estireno butadieno, um látex de terpolímero de vinilpiridina-estireno-butadieno, e um isocianato bloqueado.
