Abstract

"método e kit para a detecção da esquistossomose pela reação em cadeia da polimerase". o objetivo da presente invenção é a detecção de schistosoma sp. em amostras biológicas através de pcr. uma primeira concretização da presente invenção diz respeito a um método para diagnóstico da esquistossomose através da amplificação por pcr da sequência do dna de schistosoma sp., seguido de separação dos produtos de amplificação por eletroforese e da detecção por técnica apropriada. numa segunda concretização, a invenção é dirigida a kit de diagnóstico a ser utilizado na detecção da esquistossomose. um kit básico compreende todos os reagentes necessários para a realização da técnica de pcr, a saber: iniciadores específicos, nucleotídeos e solução tampão apropriada para a amplificação por pcr. opcionalmente, o kit pode conter a enzima taq polimerase em quantidades suficientes para amplificação, dna padrão para ser usado como controle positivo da reação, solução tampão da amostra para preparar o material amplificado para eletroforese e protocolo e manual para instruir o usuário.
