Abstract

Patente de Invenção: <B>"CAMADA DE BARREIRA DE DIFUSãO COM ALTO EFEITO DE BARREIRA"<D>. A presente invenção refere-se a uma camada de barreira de difusão (58) orgânica depositada sobre um substrato (44) que possui uma estrutura básica apolar e um alto efeito de barreira em relação a gases facilmente voláteis, vapores e líquidos. A camada de barreira de difusão (58) é constituída de um polímero de hidrocarboneto produzido por meio de polimerização por plasma. Esse polímero de hidrocarboneto apresenta um teor de aproximadamente 0,01 - 6 at% de, pelo menos, um dos elementos do grupo, constituído por oxigênio, nitrogênio, flúor, cloro, bromo, boro e silício, sendo que o total, todavia, é de no máximo 12 at%. O efeito de barreira da camada de barreira de difusão (58) permanece mantido também, pelo menos, no ar úmido. A camada de barreira de difusão (58) é produzida por meio de, pelo menos, um plasma de fonte de pulverização de magnétron de DC (26) pulsado ou contínuo, ou por meio de descarga de microondas (20) excitada indutivamente, pulsada ou contínua.
