Patente de Invenção: <B>"PROCESSO PARA TRATAR PARTìCULAS E SEU USO EM DISPERSõES"<D>. Esta invenção refere-se a um processo para tratar partículas o qual compreende as etapas de: (i) contactar as partículas com um composto de Fórmula (I) onde pelo menos um de R¹, R² e R³ é hidroxila ou um grupo hidrolisável; e (ii) contactar as partículas com um composto de Fórmula (II) onde X é um ânion e R^ 4^ é: um grupo divalente -(C~ y~H~ 2y~)-, ramificado ou não-ramificado, onde y é um número inteiro de 1 a 40, ou um grupo aromático C~ 6~-C~ 40~, e t é 0 ou 1.
