Abstract
"COMPOSIçõES TERMOFIXAS CONTENDO POLìMEROS COM FUNCIONALIDADE DE EPóXI, MéTODO PARA REVESTIR SUBSTRATO E SUBSTRATO". Uma composição termofixa é provida compreendendo: (a) um agente reticulante tendo pelo menos dois grupos funcionais que são reativos com epóxidos; e (b) um polímero com funcionalidade de epóxi, não gelificado, preparado por polimerização de radical por transferência de átomo, na presença de um iniciador tendo pelo menos um grupo radicalmente transferível. O polímero contém pelo menos uma das seguintes estruturas de cadeia polimérica: onde M é um resíduo, que é livre de funcionalidade de epóxi, de pelo menos um monómero radicalmente polimerizável etilenicamente insaturado, G é um resíduo, que tem funcionalidade de epóxi, de pelo menos um monómero radicalmente polimerizável etilenicamente insaturado; p e q representam números médios de resíduos ocorrendo em um bloco de resíduos em cada estrutura de cadeia polimérica; e p, q, e x são cada um independentemente selecionados para cada estrutura tal que o polímero com funcionalidade de epóxi tenha um peso molecular da média de números de pelo menos 250. Também providos pela presente invenção são métodos para revestir um substrato usando composições da presente invenção e substratos revestidos por tais métodos, bem como revestimentos compostos coloridos e límpidos.
