Abstract
<B>SISTEMA DE GUIAGEM LATERAL PARA VEìCULOS<D>, a invenção relativa a um novo sistema de guiagem lateral para veículos, especialmente sistemas de veículos ferroviários, o qual consiste em unidades base alto propelidas que são respectivamente e essencialmente compreendidas por módulos (5,6) de partes de ónibus de produção em série, e substancialmente acopladas sem qualquer força de tração ou pressão. O acoplamento é obtido por meios de membros de guia elástica longitudinal ou pela dispensa de quaisquer outras formas de acoplamento mecânico, onde a opção mais antiga é obtida usando meios (21, 22, 23) que guiam diversas unidades base (10, 16) em comboios. Pela dispensa de acoplamento mecânicos convencionais, o alto grau de rigidez estrutural que é usualmente requerido por veículos ferroviários em comparação com veículos rodoviários tais como ónibus não é mais necessário. Como resultado, medidas projetadas para adaptar a construção de partes de ónibus em série para operar em ferrovias são mantidos em um mínimo.
