Abstract
"PROCESSO E FORNO PARA A PRODUçãO DE PIGMENTO DE TiO~ 2~ DE ACORDO COM O PROCESSO DE SULFATO". Método para produção de pigmentos de TiO~ 2~ por dissolução de matérias primas de titânio com ácido sulfúrico, produzindo uma solução de sulfato de titanila contendo sulfato metálico, hidrolização do sulfato de titanila, separação, por filtração, do hidrato de dióxido de titânio do ácido sulfúrico contendo sulfato metálico, alvejamento opcional de hidrato de dióxido de titânio por tratamento de redução em solução ácida, mistura do hidrato de dióxido de titânio com substâncias químicas de dopagem e calcinação de hidrato de dióxido de titânio em pigmento TiO~ 2~, caracterizado pelo fato de que o hidrato de dióxido de titânio é usado como um material de partida para calcinação de TiO~ 2~ que possui menos que 3 kg de íons sulfato por t TiO~ 2~, após um tratamento com hidróxido alcalino e lavagem do sulfato metálico alcalino, o resíduo de filtração contendo o hidrato de dióxido de titânio e substâncias químicas de dopagem é seco em um secador de sólidos a 100 a 300<198>C e o sólido seco é subseq³entemente calcinado em um forno de calcinação em temperaturas de até 1100<198>C (temperatura do sólido) em pigmentos TiO~ 2~ e a exaustão é despulverizada, bem como um forno de calcinação para a produção de pigmentos de TiO~ 2~ a partir de hidrato de dióxido de titânio com pouco ou isento de sulfato seco, na forma de um forno giratório com uma razão de comprimento: diâmetro na faixa de 5 a 10.
