Abstract

Patente de Invenção: <B>"PROCESSO PARA A PREPARAçãO DE EPóXIDOS POR OXIDAçãO EM FASE DE GáS"<D>. A invenção refere-se a um processo para a preparação de epóxidos a partir de hidrocarbonetos com duplas ligações olefínicas, especialmente alquenos, por uma oxidação catalisada de maneira heterogênea, na fase de gás, sendo que é utilizado um catalisador sólido oxídico, que contém ferro, como componente ativo, com concentrações de 0,001 - 1% e elementos de metais alcalinos e/ou de metais alcalino-terrosos, como promotores. Como agente de oxidação, utiliza-se N~ 2~O. O catalisador sólido oxídico granulado, especialmente à base de SiO~ 2~ como suporte, possui uma superfície específica maior do que 50 m²/g. A proporção das concentrações de componentes ativos com relação a componentes de promotor se situa, de preferência, entre 1:100 e 10:1. A oxidação parcial de hidrocarbonetos com duplas ligações olefínicas, especialmente propeno, conduz, em temperaturas de reação de 300-500°C, em conversões de 2-30%, a seletividades com relação ao óxido de propeno de 10-70%. O catalisador, utilizado várias vezes no processo de reação, é regenerável por "oxidação" em ar de maneira simples, de modo que ele retém sua elevada atividade, mesmo depois de 50 ou mais ciclos de regeneração.
