Abstract
Patente de Invenção: <B>"PROCESSO PARA FABRICAçãO DE D,L-ALFA TOCOFEROL"<D>. Um processo para fabricação de d,l-<244>-tocoferol pela condensação catalisada de trimetilhidroquinona com isofitol compreende a execução da condensação na presença de bis(trifluorometilsulfonil)amina [HN(SO~ 2~CF~ 3~)~ 2~] ou um sal de metal da fómula Met[N(SO~ 2~CF~ 3~)~ 2~]~ n~ (I), onde Met significa um átomo de metal selecionado do grupo de boro, magnésio, alumínio, silício, escândio, titânio, vanádio, manganês, ferro, cobalto, níquel, cobre, zinco, ítrio, zicrónio, ródio, paládio, prata, estanho, lantânio, cério, neodímio, prasiodímio, európio, disprósio, itérbio, platino e ouro n significa a valência correspondente (1, 2, 3 ou 4) do átomo de metal Met, como catalisador e do dióxido de carbono supercrítico ou óxido nitroso como solvente. Um outro solvente (cossolvente) pode ser utilizado, o qual é um alcanol alifático mais baixo, uma cetona ou um hidrocarboneto. O produto do processo é o membro mais ativo do grupo vitamina E.
