Abstract

"UM COMPOSTO INOVADOR DE ESPONJA DE SULFA DE FERRO POROSO DERIVADO DE HEMATITA". Com a seguinte composição: SiO~ 2~ 3,28% Al~ 2~O~ 3~ 3,74% Fe~ 2~O~ 3~ 92,40% CaO 0,42% MgO 0,19% P~ 2~O~ 5~ 0,08% Na~ 2~O 0,00% SO~ 3~ 0,04% cl 0,0001% Mn~ 2~O~ 3~ 0,14% e contendo traços de elementos como Au, Pt e Ag, através da dissolução da referida hematita em ácido clorídrico concentrado. A solução ácida é tratada com amónia alcoólica e ácido acético glacial. O composto de esponja de sulfa de ferro poroso possui aglomerados intersticialmente estabilizados formadores de núcleos de Fe^ 2^/Fe^ 3^. A invenção também inclui um processo para a dessulfurização de gás natural através da adsorção de contaminantes contendo enxofre no composto inovador de esponja de sulfa de ferro poroso, seja no local da perfuração ou em um leito contendo o referido composto.
