Abstract

<B>SINTETIZADOR DIGITAL DIRETO<D> Sintetizador digital inclui uma memória contendo valores representando amplitudes de um sinal como por exemplo uma onda senoidal, um conversor digital/analógico para converter saídas da memória em um sinal analógico e um contador para contar através de um incremento fixo predeterminado, que opera em alta freq³ência para habilitar a geração de formas de onde de freq³ência muito precisa. O sintetizador digital tem muitas aplicações práticas, incluindo a geração de sinais precisos para extrair informação de sinais de freq³ência de rádio de entrada, obtenção de uma freq³ência precisa de um clock de baixo custo e o uso como componente de um modulador FSK para permitir seleção entre sinais de múltiplas freq³ências sem qualquer descontinuidade de fase. Finalmente, o sintetizador digital pode ser usado em combinação com uma memória de 8 bits, para gerar uma entrada de 10 bits para um conversor digital/analógico.
