Abstract

"PNEUS PARA RODAS DE VEìCULOS". Pneu radial provido de uma cinta metálica compreendendo duas tiras de suporte de carga, respectivamente, uma primeira e uma segunda, com elementos de reforço inclinados em direções opostas nas duas tiras em relação ao plano equatorial, e um par de bandas laterais radialmente superpostas sobre as extremidades da segunda tira. A segunda tira tem uma largura axial menor do que a da primeira e tem bordas escalonadas axialmente para dentro em relação às bordas da primeira tira. Cada banda compreende uma única camada de elementos de reforço metálicos circunferenciais e tem sua borda axialmente externa escalonada axialmente para dentro em relação à borda da segunda tira. Uma terceira tira, com elementos de reforço inclinadas fica disposta na posição radialmente mais externa da cinta e cobre pelo menos 2/3 da largura de cada banda. O par de bandas cobre pelo menos parcialmente as duas extremidades da segunda tira em um configuração divergente em relação às duas extremidades da primeira tira.
