Abstract

"PROCESSO E APARELHO PARA PRé-AQUECIMENTO DE OXIGêNIO". Um processo e um aparelho para fornecer oxigênio a um forno ignizado com óxi-combustível que tem sido pré-aquecido pelo gás de combustão aquecido reciclado do forno. Um ou mais regeneradores são proporcionados possuindo cada um pelo menos um primeiro e um segundo leitos de regenerador. Os leitos são alternativamente submetidos ao ciclo de maneira que um está sendo pré-aquecido com gás quente de combustão saído do forno enquanto que o outro está pré-aquecendo oxigênio através de seu leito já aquecido para alimentar o queimador do forno. A quantidade de gás quente de combustão fornecida aos leitos regeneradores é controlada pelo escape contínuo de uma porção do total gás de combustão do forno de modo a se desviar dos regeneradores, e os leitos regeneradores têm o oxigênio residual purgado pelo gás de combustão esfriado reciclado que é depois alimentado no forno antes de os leitos regeneradores serem aquecidos pelo gás de combustão.
