Abstract

Patente de Invenção: <B>"PROCESSO DE PRODUçãO DE UMA MISTURA DE CARBONETO DE FERRO E FERRO GRANULAR DIRETAMENTE REDUZIDO"<D>. Um produto final contendo carboneto de ferro (Fe~ 3~C) é produzido de um produto intermediário consistindo em ferro granular diretamente reduzido. Tal produto intermediário é fornecido por uma usina de redução de minério de ferro e é alimentado para um reator de carburação. Hidrocarbonetos líquidos são carregados no reator de carburação a temperaturas de 500 a 900°C, pelo menos parte do ferro granular diretamente reduzido sendo submetido a um movimento de redemoinho. O produto final removido do reator de carburação consiste de 5 a 90% em peso de Fe~ 3~C. Um gás de fluidização contendo metano e hidrogênio pode ser adicionado ao reator de carburação em adição aos hidrocarbonetos.
