Abstract

"PROCESSO E APARELHO PARA FABRICAR UMA ESTRUTURA CELULóSICA ENCURTADA". Descreve-se um processo e um aparelho para fabricar uma manta de papel encurtada. Uma manta úmida (60) disposta sobre um pano (20) de fabricação de papel permeável a fluidos é prensada entre duas, primeira e segunda, superfícies de prensagem paralelas e mutualmente opostas (11 e 12), sendo que a primeira superfície de prensagem (11) fica em contato com a manta (60), e a segunda superfície de prensagem (12) fica em contato com o pano. No processo contínuo, as superfícies de prensagem, a manta e o pano (20) movem-se na direção da máquina. Sob pressão, pelo menos partes selecionadas da manta tornam-se densificadas e aderidas à primeira superfície de prensagem (11) que pode ser tratada com um adesivo de encrespamento (91). A primeira superfície (11) é aquecida, para criar um diferencial de temperatura entre as duas superfícies. O diferencial de temperatura faz com que a água contida na manta (60) mova-se da manta para dentro do pano (20), secando dessa forma a manta. Depois que a manta é liberada da pressão, a manta é encurtada por encrespamento ou pela transferência da manta para um pano de transferência que move-se mais lentamente. O encrespamento é realizado com uma lâmina de limpeza para encrespamento (73), justaposta à superfície de encrespamento que tem a manta aderida sobre ela. Um adesivo de encrespamento pode ser depositado sobre a superfície de encrespamento, de acordo com um padrão predeterminado. A superfície de encrespamento pode compreender a primeira superfície de prensagem. Opcionalmente, a manta pode ser calandrada depois de ser encurtada.
