Abstract
"PROCESSO PARA PRODUZIR áCIDOS CARBOXìLICOS AROMáTICOS" é provido um processo para produzir, por exemplo, ácido tereftálico, o processo incluindo as etapas de: provisão de uma corrente de alimentação compreendendo um aromático substituído dialquila e um solvente de ácido orgânico; contato da corrente de alimentação com uma corrente de vapor, a corrente de vapor contendo pelo menos 50% em volume de oxigênio, e a uma pressão parcial de oxigênio de pelo menos 6,89 Kpa, a uma temperatura entre 80°C e 130°C, em presença de um sistema catalisador compreendendo zircónio e cobalto, onde o contato é feito em um reator de tanque agitado; remoção do reator de tanque agitado de uma corrente de vapor compreendendo ácido orgânico e água; condensação de pelo menos uma porção do ácido orgânico e água da corrente de vapor; separação de pelo menos uma porção da água do ácido orgânico separado da corrente de vapor; retorno de pelo menos uma porção do ácido orgânico separado de volta para o reator de tanque agitado; recuperação contínua, do reator de tanque agitado, de um produto do reator compreendendo um aromático substituído com diácido; isolamento dos cristais sólidos do aromático substituído diácido do produto do reator; e recuperação dos cristais sólidos de aromático substituído diácido possuindo uma pureza de pelo menos 97% em peso.
