Método para aumentar rendimento de olefina leve durante conversão de oxigenados a olefinas compreendendo: contato com um alimento oxigenado em um primeiro reator com um catalisador de peneira molecular não-zeolítico sob primeiras condições efetivas para produzir um primeiro produto compreendendo olefinas leves e uma fração de hidrocarboneto pesado; separando ditas olefinas leves de dita fração de hidrocarboneto pesado; alimentando dita fração de hidrocarboneto pesado para um segundo reator; e subjetivando dita fração de hidrocarboneto pesado em dito segundo reator para segundas condições efetivas para converter pelo menos uma porção de ditos hidrocarbonetos pesados para olefinas leves.
