Abstract

Patente de Invenção: <B>"PROCESSO PARA O APROVEITAMENTO DE CARVãO FINO EM UM GASEIFICADOR DE FUNDIçãO"<D>. A presente invenção refere-se a um processo para a produção de metal líquido, especialmente de ferro gusa líquido (9) ou de produtos intermediários de aço líquido, de material contendo metal, especialmente esponja de ferro (3) reduzida ou parcialmente reduzida num gaseificador de fundição (1). Material contendo carbono, consistindo pelo menos parcialmente de carvão fino (16) e pó de carvão (13) é alimentado com oxigênio ou gás contendo oxigênio num leito formado pelo material contendo carbono. O material contendo metal é fundido sob formação simultânea de um gás de redução, dado o caso, depois de redução completa preliminar. O carvão fino (16) e o pó de carvão (13) a serem usados são misturados com betume (20), após uma secagem, em estado quente (20) e em seguida são feitos briquetes em estado frio, e o briquetes (25) produzidos são introduzidos no gaseificador de fundição (1) em estado frio, e no gaseificador de fundição são sujeitos a um aquecimento de choque.
