Abstract
Patente de Invenção: <B>"PROCESSO E DISPOSITIVO DE CONVERSãO DIRETA DE HEXAFLUORETO DE URâNIO EM óXIDO DE URâNIO"<D>. O dispositivo de conversão compreende, em sucessão, um reator (12) munido de meios de introdução de UF~ 6~, de vapor d'água e de nitrogênio destinado a provocar a formação de UO~ 2~F~ 2~ por hidrólise, um forno tubular giratório de piro-hidrólise destinado a transformar UO~ 2~F~ 2~ em óxido de urânio , munido de meios de aquecimento repartidos em pelo menos cinco zonas e meios de acondicionamento do pó de óxido. Os meios de introdução compreendem um injetor com três bocais concêntricos ligados respectivamente a entrada de UF~ 6~, de nitrogênio e de vapor d'água, o UF~ 6~ sendo levado ao bocal central e o nitrogênio sendo injetado entre o UF~ 6~ e o vapor d'água.
