Abstract
Patente de Invenção: <B>"PROCESSO PARA A PREPARAçãO DE BIS-(4-HIDROXIARIL)-ALCANOS"<D>. é descrito um processo para preparar bis(4-hidroxiari)-alcanos mediante reação catalítica heterogênea de compostos hidróxi aromáticos com cetonas em pelo menos dois reatores ligados em série acionados de modo que a temperatura aumenta conforme o avanço da reação. A quantidade total de cetona é distribuída entre os reatores individuais de modo que quanto mais alta a temperatura de um reator, tanto mais baixo é a cetona. A carga do reator é mantida tão alta quanto possível e as temperaturas e gradientes de temperatura são tão baixos quanto possível.
