Abstract

Patente de Invenção: <B>"PROCESSO CONTìNUO PARA DIAZOMETANO"<D>. O diazometano é produzido em um processo contínuo com pouco ou nenhum risco de explosão, dissolvendo-se uma nitrosamina-N-metil-N em uma mistura de um solvente orgânico miscível em água, que dissolve a nitrosamina-N-metil-N e um solvente orgânico não-miscível em água que dissolve diazometano, e combinando um fluxo desta solução com um fluxo de uma base inorgânica aquosa, permitindo as fases orgânica e aquosa estabelecerem após um tempo de permanência adequado, e fase de separação das fases, tudo em uma base contínua. Quando usando a nitrosouréia-N-metil-N, como a amina, o processo de diazometano é precedido por um processo de nitrosação contínuo, envolvendo combinação de soluções aquosas de metiluréia e um sal de nitrito com uma solução orgânica de um ácido mineral ou orgânico, o solvente na solução sendo uma mistura dos dois solventes orgânicos referidos acima, permitindo as fases aquosas e orgânicas estabelecerem após um tempo de permanência adequado, e fase de separação das fases, tudo em uma base contínua. A fase orgânica resultante é continuamente alimentada para os estágios de diazometano descritos acima.
