Abstract

"APARELHO DE CARREGAMENTO, CARTUCHO DE PROCESSAMENTO PARA UTILIZAçãO EM UMA MáQUINA DE IMPRESSãO, E, MáQUINA DE IMPRESSãO ELETROFOTOGRáFICA". Trata-se de um aparelho de carregamento para aplicação de uma carga eletrostática uniforme a uma superfície retentora de carga. O aparelho inclui um alojamento e um arranjo de eletrodos de pino suportados pelo alojamento e adjacentes à superfície em uma relação de ausência de contato. O aparelho inclui igualmente uma blindagem geralmente em forma de U ligada ao alojamento e envolvendo pelo menos parcialmente o arranjo de eletrodos de pino. O aparelho inclui também uma grade posicionada através de extremidades distais da blindagem. A grade define uma extensão de carga efetiva e uma largura de grade efetiva. O aparelho inclui igualmente uma fonte de alimentação de energia operacionalmente acoplada aos eletrodos de pino para fornecimento de uma corrente previamente determinada para casa um dos eletrodos de pino. A fonte de alimentação de energia fornece uma voltagem previamente determinada para a grade. Pelo menos uma de entre a magnitude da corrente, a magnitude da voltagem, a extensão de carga efetiva, e a largura de grade efetiva sendo selecionada de forma a otimizar a uniformidade da carga, para minimizar a sensibilidade da grade ao elemento foto-receptor, e para minimizar o ozónio gerado no interior do aparelho de carregamento.
