Patente de Invenção: <B>CéLULA DE COMBUSTìVEL DE MEMBRANA DE TROCA IÈNICA COM SISTEMA DE REFRIGERAçãO PERIFéRICO"<D>. é reivindicada uma célula de combustível de membrana de troca iónica que compreende células elementares, cada qual incluindo duas placas bipolares, uma membrana, dois eletrodos em contato íntimo com a membrana, dois coletores de corrente condutores, e duas juntas. As placas bipolares são refrigeradas ao longo da periferia apenas através de um meio refrigerante que flui através das janelas laterais nas juntas. O material das placas bipolares tem de preferência uma elevada condutividade térmica.
