<B>PROCESSO E UNIDADE PARA A TRANSFORMAçãO DE CINTAS METáLICAS EM UMA UNIDADE DE LANINAçãO A QUENTE DE CINTAS<D>. Para regular em uma unidade de laminação de cintas a quente consistindo de um trem acabador, de um trem de resfriamento, de um propulsor e de um sarilho, as desejadas condições de planicidade e tensão no metal laminado, é proposto que o material da cintas (1), na região entre o trecho de resfriamento e o sarilho, seja conduzida alternativamente por cima e por baixo ao menos de dois roletes operacionais-alinhadores/estiradores (7, 8) sequenciais, mediante configuração de uma zona de alinahamento/estriamento (6), sendo que os roletes operacionais (7, 8) estão de tal modo dispostos reciprocamente defasados que a cinta metálica é desviada em cada rolete operacional (7, 8).
