Abstract
<B>"DISPOSITIVO E MéTODO RELATIVO à PROTEçãO DE UM OBJETO CONTRA CORRENTES EXCESSIVAS, COMPREENDENDO REDUçãO DE CORRENTE EXCESSIVA E LIMITAçãO DE CORRENTE"<D>. A presente invenção se refere a um dispositivo e método em uma instalação de energia elétrica, para proteção de um objeto (1) contra correntes excessivas de uma rede (3) ou outro equipamento incluído na instalação de alta tensão, o dispositivo compreendendo um dispositivo de comutação (4) em uma linha (2) entre o objeto e a rede/equipamento. A linha (2) entre o objeto e a rede/equipamento é conectada a uma disposição de redução de correntes excessivas (5) na direção do objeto (1), dita disposição (5) sendo ativada para redução de corrente excessiva com a ajuda de uma disposição (11, 13) de detecção de condições de corrente excessiva, dentro de um período de tempo substancialmente menor que o tempo de interrupção do dispositivo de comutação (4).
