Abstract
"PROCESSO PARA PRODUçãO DE SEMENTES DE PLANTAS QUE CONFEREM RESISTêNCIA A PATóGENOS àS PLANTAS GERMINADAS DAS SEMENTES, SEMENTES DE PLANTAS, PROCESSO PARA CONFERIR RESISTêNCIA AOS PATóGENOS àS PLANTAS, PLANTA, PROPáGULO DE PLANTAS". A presente invenção diz respeito a um processo de conferir às plantas resistência a patógenos.Isto envolve a aplicação de um polipeptídeo ou proteína eliciadores, em uma forma não infecciosas, a uma semente de planta, sob condições onde o polipeptídeo ou proteína contata as células da semente da planta. A presente invenção também é direcionada a uma semente de planta conferindo resistência a patógeno. Alternativamente, as sementes de plantas transgênicas contendo uma molécula de DNA codificando um polipeptídeo ou proteína eliciadores de resposta hipersensível, podem se plantadas no solo, e uma planta pode ser propagada da semente plantada sob condições efetivas para conferir à planta resistência a patógenos.
