Abstract
"VASO DE REAçãO PARA CONTER REAGENTES, APARELHAGEM DE REAçãO, AQUECEDOR, E, PROCESSO PARA REALIZAçãO DE UMA REAçãO QUìMICA OU BIOQUìMICA". Um vaso de reação para conter reagentes é descrito, o qual compreende um polímero condutor de eletricidade capaz de emitir calor quando uma corrente elétrica é passada sobre si. Adequadamente o vaso de reação compreende um recipiente de reagente, tal como um tubo capilar, uma lâmina ou uma pastilha, em contacto íntimo com o polímero condutor de eletricidade. Por exemplo, o polímero pode se apresentar na forma de um filme que está envolvido ao redor do tubo para formar um envoltório. Isto proporciona uma fonte de calor prontamente controlável que pode ser aquecida e esfriada rapidamente para as temperaturas desejadas. Uma aparelhagem adequada para reações cíclicas térmicas, tal como a reação de polimerase em cadeia (PCR) e compreendendo um ou mais vasos de reação como descrito acima, bem como processos para realização de tais reações são também descritos e reivindicados.
