Abstract

Patente de Invenção: <B>"MATERIAIS COMPOSTOS BASEADOS EM MATERIAIS VEGETAIS"<D>. é descrito um material composto que é caracterizado por um substrato baseado em materiais vegetais, em particular fibras vegetais, matérias-primas de fibras vegetais ou produtos semi-acabados de fibras vegetais, e a um nanocomposto que está em contato funcional com o referido substrato e é obtenível por modificação da superfície de a) partículas inorgânicas coloidais com b) um ou mais silanos de fórmula geral (I) R~ x~-Si-A~ 4-x~ na qual os radicais A são idênticos ou diferentes e são grupos hidroxila ou grupos que podem ser removidos hidroliticamente, exceto metóxi, os radicais R são idênticos ou diferentes e são grupos que não podem ser removidos hidroliticamente e x é 0, 1, 2, ou 3, onde x <242> 1 em pelo menos 50% em mol dos silanos; sob as condições de processo sol-gel com uma quantidade subestequiométrica de água, baseado nos grupos hidrolisáveis que estão presentes, com formação de um sol de nanocomposto, e ainda hidrólise e condensação do sol de nanocomposto, se desejado, antes de ser colocado em contato com o substrato, seguido por cura.
