Abstract

''PROCESSO E APARELHO PARA A PRODUçãO DE áGUA POTáVEL''. Esta invenção compreende um processo e uma aparelhagem para a produção de água potável purificada a partir de fontes de água fresca superficial ou freática não empregando pré-tratamento químico ou coagulantes, por meio de utilização de um meio de filtração positivamente carregado para atrair os sólidos suspensos tipicamente negativamente carregados, presentes na fonte de água. O processo, que pode ser portátil, inclui um sistema de filtração possuindo um componente de retro-lavagem/recirculação/filtração e uma etapa de desinfecção. Este processo inclui adicionalmente um controlador de sistema que recebe sinais elétricos dos controles de bóia para controlar as etapas de filtração, recirculação e de retro-lavagem. Este processo produz água potável que atende ou excede as diretrizes exigidas pela Organização Mundial de Saúde para turbidez e conteúdo microbiológico.
