Abstract

Patente de Invenção: <B>"MóDULO DE "AIRBAG" PARA VOLANTE DE VEìCULOS AUTOMOTORES"<D>. Propõe-se um módulo de "airbag" para volantes de veículos automotores com um gerador de gás (1), uma bolsa de ar (2) dobrada, um suporte de gerador (3) do tipo chave, uma cobertura (4) unida do lado da borda com o suporte de gerador (3) e apresentando pontos de ruptura teórica (8), bem como com uma chapa de retenção (5) para a fixação da bolsa de ar (2) ao suporte de gerador (3), sendo que todos os elementos mencionados formam uma unidade constitutiva em uma só parte, unível com um volante. Para se poder adaptar o volume interno de tal módulo de "airbag" a diversas necessidades de volume, sem se perder o contramancal formado pela bolsa de ar (2) para a cobertura (4), propõe-se que entre gerador de gás (1) e bolsa de ar (2) dobrada fique disposto um corpo de deslocamento (6, 7), que preenche uma fração predeterminada do volume disponível entre gerador de gás (1), suporte de gerador (3) e cobertura (4) para a bolsa de ar (2) dobrada.
