Abstract

''FORMULAçãO APERFEIçOADA PARA CONCENTRADO DE ADITIVO DE FERTILIZANTE''. Sistemas solventes para a formulação de inibidores de uréase de triamidas N-alquil tiofosfóricas. Estas formulações possibilitam a preparação de soluções concentradas estáveis de triamidas N-alquil tiofosfóricas para armazenamento, transporte e impregnação eventual sobre fertilizantes contendo uréia sólidos e a incorporação nas composições de fertilizantes contendo uréia líquidas. Essas formulações são compreendidas, basicamente, de um solvente selecionado do grupo consistindo de glicóis e derivados de glicol. Opcionalmente, a formulação também pode conter pelo menos um outro solvente pertencente ao grupo consistindo de amidas líquidas, 2-pirrolidona e N-alquil 2-pirrolidonas e/ou um tensoativo não iónico selecionado do grupo consistindo de poli (éteres-álcoois de alquilarila). Verificou-se que presença do co-solvente e/ou tensoativo confere as propriedades desejáveis às formulações sob determinadas condições. As triamidas N-alquil tiofosfóricas são conhecidas há algum tempo como sendo inibidores efetivos da atividade das enzimas de uréase, embora, o uso comercial tenha sido inibido pela falta de um veículo aceitável. São, freq³entemente, térmica e hidroliticamente instáveis e difíceis de manusear. O uso dos sistemas solventes oferece várias vantagens, tais como: (1) estabilidade aperfeiçoada do inibidor de uréase do ingrediente ativo; (2) excelentes caracterísiticas de solubilidade; (3) inflamabilidade e toxidez extremamente baixas dos solventes, o que simplifica bastante o manuseio e o armazenamento do concentrado; (4) excelentes características de armazenamento em baixa temperatura, com a adição do co-solvente de amida líquida e (5) boas características de adsorção sobre os fertilizantes contendo uréia sólidos e excelente miscibilidade com as formulações de fertilizantes contendo uréia líquidas.
