''PROCESSOS DE DETERMINAR UM DéBITO INCORRIDO PELO USO DO ENLACE DE COMUNICAçõES PARA REALIZAR UMA COMUNICAçãO DE USUáRIO EM UM SISTEMA DE COMUNICAçõES E PELO USO DA INTERFACE DE RáDIO PARA CONDUZIR UMA COMUNICAçãO DE ASSINANTE EM UM SISTEMA DE TELEFONIA CELULAR, E, SISTEMAS DE COMUNICAçõES E DE TELEFONIA CELULAR''. Em um sistema de comunicações do tipo de largura de banda sob demanda como aquele sistema de comunicações celulares de acesso múltiplo por divisão de código (CDMA), a tarifação de assinantes por chamadas baseadas sobre duração de comunicações oferece uma medida inexata do custo de comunicação, e serve adicionalmente para desencorajar o uso do sistema para aplicações de transmissão de dados. Para proporcionar uma determinação de custo mais exata, a extensão de largura de banda usada por cada comunicação é medida e multiplicada por uma taxa de tarifação.
