Abstract
"SISTEMA DE CONVERSãO DE ENERGIA TéRMICA OCEâNICA". Um sistema de conversão de energia térmica do oceano (400) é composto de um sub-sistema de dessalinização, incluindo um evaporador de flash adaptado para transformar água quente do mar em vapor, e um primeiro condensador (412) adaptado para transformar o vapor em água doce usando água fria do mar e um sub-sistema de geração de energia adaptado para abastecer o sub-sistema de dessalinização. O sub-sistema de geração de energia inclui um evaporador do fluido de trabalho (418) adaptado para transformar um fluido de trabalho em vapor de trabalho usando água quente do mar, uma turbina-geradora (422) movida por vapor de trabalho, e um segundo condensador (416) adaptado para transformar o vapor de trabalho em líquido usando água fria do mar.
