Abstract
Patente de Invenção "GRãO ABRASIVO, ARTIGO ABRASIVO, PROCESSO PARA A PRODUçãO DE GRãO ABRASIVO E PRECURSOR DE GRãO ABRASIVO". é provido um grão abrasivo contendo óxido de manganês. A inclusão do óxido de manganês pode ser utilizada para reduzir a temperatura de transição de alumina(s) de transição a alfa-alumina(s), durante a formação do grão abrasivo. Além disso, a presença do óxido de manganês pode ser utilizada para gerar um grão abrasivo com uma microestrutura facetada de submicrómetros. O grão abrasivo é utilizável em artigos tais como abrasivos revestidos, abrasivos tridimensionais de baixa densidade e abrasivos aglutinados.
