Abstract

PROCESSO PARA PREPARAR RESINAS REATIVAS PARA REVESTIMENTOS INTUMESCENTES, FORMULAÇÃO PARA REVESTIMENTO INTUMESCENTE DE 2 COMPONENTES E MÉTODO PARA O REVESTIMENTO INTUMESCENTE DE UMA SUPERFÍCIE DE METAL. A presente invenção se refere a um inovador sistema reativo para revestimento intumescente e a um processo para preparar este sistema de resina. Revestimentos intumescentes são usados, em particular, para proteção contra incêndio de componentes metálicos, tais como vigas em engenharia estrutural. Em um cenário de incêndio, estes revestimentos são reativamente espumados e, então, formam uma camada isolante resistente ao incêndio com baixa condutividade térmica ao redor da viga de metal, com o isolamento resultante retardando a falha prematura deste componente. A presente invenção se refere, mais particularmente, a sistemas de resina que são preparados por meio de um inovador processo em que a fração de monômero é polimerizada apenas até um grau máximo de 70%. A temperatura de transição vítrea deste componente polimérico da composição resultante é particularmente baixa em comparação com a tecnologia anterior.
