Abstract
A invenção refere-se a uma composição de revestimento com alto teor de sólidos que compreende 10-50% em peso de uma resina epóxi curável, 10-30% em peso de um agente de cura e 0,05-10% em peso de um polifosfato de alumínio alcalino terroso. O volume de sólidos é de 90% ou mais e/ou o teor de sólidos é de 90% em peso ou mais de acordo com ASTM D5201. A invenção também se refere a um método no qual a composição de revestimento é aplicada a um substrato. A composição pode ser usada como um revestimento anticorrosivo para substratos metálicos, em particular para artigos ou estruturas que ficam imersos em água por períodos prolongados de tempo, por exemplo, cascos de navios, tanques de lastro de navios e partes submersas de estruturas fixas ou flutuantes offshore ou em terra.
