Abstract

MÓDULO DE AIRBAG. A presente invenção possibilita fornecer um módulo de airbag com o gabinete prontamente capaz de se abrir quando o airbag se expande e desdobra. Meios de resolução A configuração de um módulo de airbag, de acordo com a presente invenção, inclui: um colchão de ar de airbag, um insuflador equipado nesse colchão de ar de airbag e gabinete para guardar esse colchão de ar de airbag, sendo que o gabinete tem um formato poligonal convexo em seção transversal e tem uma abertura no lado superior, e quando o colchão de ar de airbag se expande e desdobra, um primeiro par de superfícies laterais mutuamente opostas se expandem separando-se umas das outras,o módulo de airbag compreende adicionalmente uma tampa que cobre a abertura e superfícies laterais do gabinete, e quanto à tampa, a porção de superfície superior que cobre a abertura do gabinete é formada com uma primeira porção sulcada que se estende na direção longitudinal da porção de superfície superior, é mais sulcada que a área circundante da mesma e é fendida pela separação do primeiro par de superfícies laterais.
