processo para produzir um polialquilenoglicol solúvel em óleo esterificado de baixa cor. as modalidades da presente divulgação são processos direcionados para produzir um polialquilenoglicol solúvel em óleo esterificado de baixa cor, em que o processo compreende a formação de uma mistura de reação incluindo um polialquilenoglicol solúvel em óleo de baixa viscosidade e uma quantidade excessiva de ácido valérico, onde a mistura de reação é formada na presença de uma quantidade catalítica de catalisador de ácido ortofosfórico para gerar uma fase orgânica incluindo o polialquilenoglicol solúvel em óleo esterificado de baixa cor.
