Abstract
resumo "métodos de refino e produção de ésteres e ácidos dibásicos a partir de óleos naturais como matéria-prima" a presente invenção refere-se em geral a métodos e sistemas para produzir ésteres dibásicos e/ou ácidos dibásicos utilizando metátese. em algumas modalidades, os métodos compreendem reagir um éster de olefina terminal com um éster de olefina interna na presença de um catalisador de metátese para formar um éster dibásico e/ou ácido dibásico. em algumas modalidades, o éster de olefina terminal ou o éster de olefina interna são derivados de uma matéria-prima renovável, tal como um óleo natural como matéria-prima. em algumas de tais modalidades, o óleo natural como matéria-prima ou um derivado transesterificado deste, é reagido por metátese para criar o éster de olefina terminal ou o éster de olefina interna.
