Abstract

levedura modificada e método para aumentar o teor de lisina em coprodutos de fermentação. a presente invenção refere-se a cepas e métodos relacionados com células de levedura geneticamente modificadas que superproduzem lisina de uma maneira ajustável alterando-se a inibição de retroalimentação da trajetória sintética de lisina por meio dos polipeptídeos homocitrato sintase lys20 e lys21. a levedura pode ser usada em uma instalação de produção de bioetanol convencional para produzir álcool juntamente com quantidades aumentadas de lisina, resultando em qualidade e valor comercial aumentados de produtos e coprodutos de fermentação, tais como ingredientes de ração para animal.
