cepa mutante de trichoderma reeseie métodos para produzir uma proteína e para produzir uma celulase. a presente invenção refere-se a uma cepa mutante de trichoderma reesei que tem uma mutação que elimina ou reduz uma função de um polipeptídeo que compreende a sequência de aminoácidos mostrada na seq id no: 8. de preferência, a referida cepa mutante exibe uma variação em um ou mais polipeptídeos escolhidos a partir de polipeptídeos que consistem em uma sequência de aminoácidos representada por qualquer uma das seq id nos, 6, 7, 8, 9 ou 10. proteínas, especialmente celulases, podem ser produzidas usando a referida cepa mutante, enquanto a viscosidade de um líquido de cultivo é mantida baixa durante o cultivo.
