resumo método para produzir um composto, e, n-carbometoxi-2-[4-(trifluorometil)fenil]etilamina a presente invenção provê um método para produzir industrialmente: um composto pirimidina tendo eficácia no controle de pragas; 2-[4-(trifluorometil)fenil] etilamina que é um intermediário de produção do composto pirimidina; um composto feniletilamina utilizável como um intermediário químico farmacêutico e agrícola; e adicionalmente um composto 3-arilpropionamida e um composto éster de ácido 3-arilpropiônico utilizável como intermediários de produção do composto feniletilamina. o composto 3-arilpropionamida ou o composto éster de ácido 3-arilpropiônico podem ser produzidos industrialmente e de modo eficaz em uma etapa única por reação de um composto representado por fórmula (1), (em que x representa um átomo de cloro ou um átomo de bromo; e y representa um grupo alquila opcionalmente substituído com átomo(s) de flúor, um átomo de hidrogênio, um átomo de flúor, um grupo ciano, um grupo alquilcarbonila, um grupo dialquilamino, ou similares) com acrilamida ou um éster de ácido acrílico na presença de um catalisador de metal e um agente redutor.
