Abstract
a invenção refere-se a uma composição de borracha produzida a partir de pelo menos um elastômero, um material de reforço inorgânico, um agente de acoplamento para acoplar o elastômero ao material de reforço inorgânico e um sistema de reticulação; sendo que a dita carga inorgânica de reforço compreende pelo menos uma sílica s que tem: - uma área de superfície específica de ctab sctab dentro de uma faixa de 40 a 300 m/g; - uma diferença entre a área de superfície específica de bet sbet e a área de superfície específica de ctab sctab maior ou igual a 35 m2/g; - um teor de alumínio wal na faixa de 0,5 a 7,0% em peso, em relação ao peso da sílica s; - uma amplitude de distribuição de tamanho de agregado ld, medida por sedimentação centrífuga, maior ou igual a 1,5; e - um d50 diâmetro de agregado médio, medido por sedimentação centrífuga, de modo que, para um dado valor de área de superfície específica de ctab sctab e um dado teor de alumínio wal, uma quantidade a é definida pela seguinte equação (i): a = [d50] + 0,782 x [sctab] - 8,524x [wal] (i) em que: [d50] é o valor numérico de d50 expresso em nm; [sctab] é o valor numérico de sctab expresso em m2/g; [wal] é o valor numérico de wal expresso em % em peso em relação ao peso da sílica s; e a dita quantidade a satisfaz a relação (ii): a = 253 (ii). as composições da invenção podem ser usadas em pneus ou artigos semiacabados para pneus.
