Abstract

a invenção diz respeito a um microcateter de embolização com um corpo de microcateter alongado configurado para passar por si uma suspensão de partículas suspensas em um fluido de suspensão; e uma cabeça de microcateter conectada a uma extremidade distal do referido corpo de microcateter e compreendendo uma seção de cabeça proximal e uma seção de cabeça distal, em que a seção de cabeça proximal inclui uma parede proximal formando um lúmen de seção proximal, possuindo a parede proximal uma pluralidade de orifícios de passagem, em que a seção de cabeça distal inclui uma parede distal formando um lúmen de seção distal, e uma abertura de distribuição da suspensão em uma extremidade distal da seção de extremidade distal; em que a seção distal é desprovida de orifícios de passagem, e em que cada uma das pluralidades de orifícios de passagem é formado e/ou dimensionado para permitir a passagem do fluido de suspensão através de si enquanto bloqueia a passagem das partículas suspensas nesse.
