Abstract

a presente invenção refere-se a uma membrana de fibra oca hidrofóbica de poli(4-metil-1-penteno) para retenção de agentes anestésicos com uma superfície interna e uma externa, e entre a superfície interna e externa uma camada de suporte essencialmente isotrópica com uma estrutura microporosa semelhante a esponja de poros abertos isenta de macrocavidades e adjacente a esta camada de suporte na superfície externa uma camada de separação com uma espessura entre 1,0 e 3,5 µm. a membrana tem uma porosidade na faixa de maior que 35% a menor que 50% por volume, e uma permeância a co2 de 20 a 60 mol/(h·m2·bar), um fator de separação gasosa a(co2/n2) de ao menos 5, e uma seletividade de co2 / agentes anestésicos de ao menos 150. o processo para produção desta membrana se baseia em um processo de separação de fase induzido termicamente, sendo que em tal processo uma solução homogênea de poli(4-metil-1-penteno) em um sistema solvente contendo os componentes a e b é formada, sendo que o componente a é um solvente forte e o componente b é um não-solvente fraco para o componente polimérico. após a formação de uma fibra oca, a fibra oca é resfriada em um meio de resfriamento líquido para formar uma membrana de fibra oca. a concentração do componente polimérico na solução pode situar-se na faixa de 42,5 a 45,8% em peso, e a fibra oca deixando a matriz passa através de um vão entre a matriz e o meio de resfriamento com um comprimento de vão na faixa de 5 a 30 mm.
