plantas partenocárpicas do tipo solanácea, frutos e sementes de uma planta, produtos processados comestíveis, métodos de produção e de reprodução de uma planta, compreende planta solanácea exibindo uma partenocarpia facultativa é fornecida; a planta compreende uma mutação de perda de função em um gene slagl6 e é alternativa ou adicionalmente caracterizada por um peso médio de fruto/planta que é, pelo menos, aproximadamente o mesmo que o de um tomate não partenocárpico de mesmo histórico genético sob condições permissivas de fertilização do tomate não partenocárpico; também são fornecidos métodos de produção de tais plantas e produtos processados produzidos a partir das mesmas.
