Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a una planta de tomate que presenta un fenotipo de inflorescencia de ramificación. La planta mencionada produce un alto rendimiento estadísticamente significativo de frutos maduros que tienen las características de peso de fruto individual promedio o niveles brix de fruto individual promedio o una combinación de las mismas, similares a las de frutos producidos por una línea de tomate que se use como la línea progenitora normalmente ramificada de la planta de tomate. También está dentro del alcance de la presente invención dar a conocer métodos para la producción de las plantas de tomate antes mencionadas y usos de las mismas.
