Abstract

de acordo com um aspecto do presente conceito do invento, é provido um método para a extração de informações sobre uma amostra, o método compreendendo: realizar uma pluralidade de medições de ressonância magnética na amostra, cada medição incluindo submeter a amostra a uma sequência de codificações, pelo menos uma parte da sequência sendo adaptada para codificar uma atenuação do sinal de ressonância magnética devida à difusão e ao relaxamento nuclear, em que pelo menos um parâmetro de uma sequência de pulso gradiente varia entre pelo menos um subconjunto da dita pluralidade de medições e pelo menos uma medição do dito subconjunto inclui uma sequência de pulso gradiente tendo uma representação de tensor de codificação de difusão com mais de um autovalor não zero, e em que pelo menos um subconjunto da dita pluralidade de medições inclui codificação para diferentes níveis de atenuação do sinal de ressonância magnética devidos ao relaxamento nuclear; e extrair informações sobre a amostra de sinais que resultam da dita pluralidade de medições de ressonância magnética, as informações incluindo características de difusão e de relaxamento nuclear para a amostra.
